Overview

First and foremost, Hare & Hounds is a thriving local watering hole that has been keeping locals’ thirst at bay for over 300 years — offering great ales, interesting wines, and homemade seasonal drinks. Alongside the bar is a small, daily changing, seasonal menu in the dining room, using the very best produce from the Vale of Glamorgan region. Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen, from sourdough bread and cultured butter, to fresh pasta. This is not pretentious fine dining — it's about quality regional Welsh cooking, whether you’ve been for a long walk with your dog or have got something to celebrate.
