Overview

In the Piedmontese dialect, the piola is the village tavern, the place where traditional dishes are eaten and generous glasses of local wine are drunk. Here, the convivial, almost familiar atmosphere complements the food on the table and the wine in the glasses. For this reason, when in 2005, the Ceretto family chose to open a restaurant offering typical Langa cuisine, the choice fell on this name. Not "a" Piola but "the" Piola, testifying to the desire to be faithful interpreters of a gastronomic tradition that has made the Langhe one of the most famous places in the world for the quality of food.
