In an ancient 17th-century farmhouse, bedecked in red tiles, with a vast terrace and the surrounding nature at its finest, the gourmet restaurant Lore Ttipia is making a name for itself. Chef John Argaud draws his inspiration from the best produce from the Atlantic coast, Navarre, and the Pyrenees mountains to create a cuisine that’s bold, racy, and underscored by the crackle of the open fire. Whether used for smoking or cooking, the flames lick, the fire scorches, and the flavors distill for a highly contrasting and exciting signature as vibrant as the mighty Basque nature.
