Overview
The Clift's famous and historic Redwood Room has been restored and reinvented as an exceptionally modern San Francisco bar. Suffused with glamor and Art Deco style, the interior features the original redwood paneling which, legend has, was carved from a single redwood tree, as well as an enormous bar made from an 800-year-old redwood tree. The original artwork on the walls by Austrian painter Gustav Klimt was restored and re-hung.
