Contento is a vibrant, inclusive, and accessible neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of East Harlem, serving fun, thoughtful, and eclectic food and beverages. Aside from the acclaimed Peruvian-inspired cuisine, award-winning wine list, and stellar overall beverage program, Contento's real passion is hospitality. This comes in many forms but starts at the heart with the staff, treating each other respectfully and kindly, and emanates out to guests every evening. With deep ties within the disability community in Harlem and beyond, Contento is dedicated to using its resources and space as an example of what can be done with small modifications: a wider swath of people can be served and welcomed into the space.
